On the 8th of April the Eco Slow Marathon INBA 2018 will take place in Chiba in Japan. The event which is without timing offers distances from 4.1 Km up to the full marathon distance of 42.195 Km. The race is organized by Hajime Nishi, the first Person who run marathons on each of 7 continents in 7 months in 1997.

The Eco Slow Marathon INBA is the world’s first slow marathon where you don’t have to race against others, but instead working together to pick up trashes and enjoy the scenic 42.2 Km marathon course. Here you can enjoy your run and find the beauty and happiness of slow marathon running for peace. Race Venue

Important Note: You can start without shoes, but you can’t start without your water bottle or cup. Because we are cup-free zero-emission sports event. The out and back course of ECO INBA is mostly flat motorized-vehicle-free lake shore bike paths when Cherry blossoms and 600,000 colorful tulips by windmill will be in full bloom on the first Sunday of April. We provide the World’s GREENEST and the safest environment to enjoy Slow Running or walking to feel the connectedness with your fellow HEROES and nature for maximum of 9 hours! Qualifications of Participant:

All participants must follow EcoTips, the conservation rules and guidelines of ECO INBA. Eco Tips Marathon: – Must be able to complete the race over 5 hours and less than 9 hours (for 5 am starter). Half Marathon: – Must be able to complete the race over 2 hours and less than 5 hours (for 9 am starter). 10 km. and 5 km.: – Must be able to complete the race over 1 hour and less than 3 hours.
