Tri Dash is a grass-root series that offers beginners a safe environment to get started in the sport, and advanced athletes a chance to tune-up for bigger races.
The Bike Zone Tri Dash Bangkok 2021 series will comprise of races, with athletes racing over the Mini Dash distance of 200m swim, 10km bike, and 2.5km run. Dash distance of 400m swim, 20km bike, and 5km run. Long Dash distance of 800m swim, 40km bike, and 10km run.
Every athlete registering at least…
- 1 race gets a starter kit [t-shirt, drawstring bag, and race belt]
- 2 races get a bike bottle
- 3 races get a swim cap
- 5 races get a buff
- 6 races get a visor
- 7 races get a tri suit
There are also finisher medals but with a twist.
- Finish your first race and get a bronze medal
- Finish 4 races and get a silver medal
- Finish 8 races and get a prestigious gold medal
Series points are awarded for every Dash (individual) and Long Dash (individual) race. Athletes can accumulate points during the year to determine the series champion in each age group at the last race in November.
