Run through the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage town of Luang Prabang
Each year, the Lao Friends Hospital for Children (LFHC) hosts an annual run in Luang Prabang, a small city in Laos. All the funds raised would help support the hospital as it provides free medical care to all children.
This year, due to the circumstances, the Luang Prabang Half Marathon will now be an International Virtual Run for Children. We may be distant, but digitally, we’re closer than ever. This year we aim to gather more participation, sponsors, and campaigns to save lives of children.
THE RACE
This year, the race will include runners as well as cyclers! And, you can participate from any part of the world and any time zone. More information about the race is available here.
THE HOSPITAL
Lao Friends Hospital for Children (LFHC) is the only free hospital and the only children’s hospital in northern Laos, serving as a lifeline for thousands of children.
YOUR PARTICIPATION
Your donation makes a significant difference. You can directly donate to the organization or get your loved ones to sponsor your run!
All donations and funds raised from the race will go directly to supporting patient care. For runners that raise at least USD $500, the normal entry fee to the race will be waived. Once you have hit the minimum target, please send an email with your runner details and the link to your personal fundraiser page to: relations@fwablaos.org)
