WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK 

Waiver, Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Consent I certify that I have carefully read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all terms and conditions of this Waiver before participating in the Event. I acknowledge that participation in the marathon and all related activities (“Event”) is an inherently hazardous activity involving risks that may result in serious personal injury, permanent disability, illness, property damage, or death, despite reasonable safety measures implemented by the Event Organizer. I represent and warrant that: 

1. I am physically and mentally fit to participate in the Event, have adequately trained, and have no medical condition that would make my participation unsafe. 

1. If I have any medical condition, I have consulted a qualified physician and obtained appropriate medical advice before participating.

1. I will comply with all Event rules, regulations, instructions, and decisions made by race officials, medical personnel, security personnel, volunteers, and the Event Organizer.

1. I will immediately withdraw from the Event if instructed by Event officials or if continuing participation may endanger myself or others.

1. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the Event, whether known or unknown, including but not limited to: slips, trips, falls, or collisions; contact with vehicles, participants, spectators, animals, or other persons;road, trail, or course conditions;traffic hazards; adverse weather conditions including extreme heat, humidity, rain, storms, lightning, or natural disasters; dehydration, heat stroke, cardiac events, or other medical emergencies; acts or omissions of other participants; and any other risks arising from participation in the Event. 

1. I authorize the Event Organizer and its medical personnel to provide or arrange emergency medical treatment, transportation, rescue, or hospitalization deemed necessary. I understand that I am solely responsible for any resulting medical expenses unless otherwise required by applicable law.

1. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my personal belongings. The Event Organizer shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property except where caused by the Organizer’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

1. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Event Organizer, co-organizers, sponsors, venue owners, government authorities, contractors, service providers, volunteers, officials, directors, employees, representatives, successors, and assigns (“Released Parties”) from any and all present or future claims, liabilities, demands, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to my participation in the Event, except to the extent caused by intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

1. grant the Event Organizer and its authorized partners the irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free right to photograph, film, record, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, broadcast, and otherwise use my name, likeness, voice, image, race results, and participation for promotional, advertising, marketing, editorial, archival, and other lawful purposes without compensation. 

1. I consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and processing of my personal data for purposes relating to Event administration, medical assistance, race timing, publication of results, insurance, safety, security, and compliance with applicable data protection laws.

1. If any provision of this Waiver is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

1. I certify that the information I have provided is true and correct, and I voluntarily agree to be legally bound by this Waiver.
