The Thai-Vietnamese Friendship Association, in collaboration with the Thai-Vietnamese Heritage Management Committee of the Thai Royal Cemetery, is organizing a running event to promote friendship between Thailand and Vietnam.

This running event will take place at the beautiful and serene Khao Sam Muk Cemetery, where participants can experience the atmosphere of a half-marathon race with warm hospitality, the pleasant ambiance of the three-tiered Magkha Hill, and the fresh morning air of the grassy fields and lush forests. Runners will also get to experience the way of life of the peaceful and cool communities that live alongside the Chinese and Thai-Vietnamese heritage cemeteries on the green fields of several hundred rai.

There will be various food services available, such as standard race food and franchise food stalls, as well as delicious and healthy Vietnamese cuisine from the original restaurant, “Khao Soi Ngon.” This restaurant is located in the Ladprao area, where participants can enjoy the authentic taste of Vietnamese cuisine.

Tents will be provided for runners at the event venue, Sala Phopsuk, and at the grass field area. Additional tents will also be set up at the forest temple, Wat Pa Bampen Tham, which will have restrooms and shower rooms available for use.

Part of the registration fee will go towards the construction fund for the Thai-Vietnamese Heritage Cemetery, while another portion will be donated to support sports and healthcare activities in Nong Nak sub-district, Nong Kha district, in the province of Saraburi. Additionally, a portion of the donation will also go towards the forest temple, Wat Pa Bampen Tham, in Nong Nak sub-district, Nong Kha district, in the province of Saraburi.
